Day 2 - My favorite Movie

My favorite movie of all time would have to be The Sound of Music.

Don't judge me!!  It is wonderful.  When I was little my mom watched this with my sister and I.  We quickly became obsessed and watched it all of the time.  We would sing every word, we would fight over who had to be Rolph and who got to be Liesel.  We always fast forwarded through the nazi chasing part and re-watched the good night song over and over.  I wanted to be Greta because I thought she was the cutest.  I could go on and on about every character in this movie but that isn't the point is it?  I will tell you this, every single time it shows its beautiful title on my T.V. guide, I watch it.  John cringes as I belt out EVERY word of EVERY song and dance around the living room.  He must love me!  Now if you will excuse me...Doe, a deer, a female deer...

  1. Oh yes, how well I remember! It is a fantastic movie! I always wanted to be Julie Andrews - HA! Poor John, at least he doesn't have to listen to you and Sus quote the script of Home Alone!!!!!!!!

  2. I have never seen that movie! Yikes!
    Love Ducky;s little ponytail

  3. It's forty five years since my Dad took me to see The Sound of Music for the first time, and I must have seen it at least fifty times. That's 890 times less than Myra Franklin, a lady from Wales, who holds the world record. I love the movie so much that I've even written a website, although my husband and kids think I'm nuts!

  4. Oh Holy one, Laura, watch it now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sinner!

Sister, I know! I still sing every song of that movie!!!

    Eidelveiss, eidelveiss.............:D

  5. Linda, Love the website! And my sister and I may have beaten Myra Franklin, at least it feels like it!
