Yeah that's right. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis would have to be my favorite book(s). Now I didn't read these as a child like most people. I always heard about them but I was more interested in Babysitter's Club Little Sister or Sweet Valley High. (Yes I have always loved trash reading.) When I was in college a friend and I came across a partially burned down house in the country. We went in and I found a half burnt box of these books, I took them. I thought they would look cool on my book shelf. When I finally got around to reading them I could NOT put them down! I like all 7 of them equally as much but "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe" will always be best! That is the only one of the movies I saw and it was everything I imagined it could be. That is one movie made from a book that was actually great! I still have the books from the burnt down house on my book shelf and yes, they do still look cool!
I love those books too! I was also a fan of the Boxcar Children books - have you read those? They're pretty good, from what I remember!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the author of Sweet Valley High is coming out with another SVH book, but the characters are 20 years older!!! It'll be released in 2011 I think?
I LOVED the boxcar children and I can assure you I will own the new SVH books!
ReplyDeleteBoxcar kids were great! I can't believe other people read them! hahaha. FYI, I might have to copy your 30 blogs in 30 days deal, I'm so slacking on my blog.
ReplyDeleteFantastic pick! I think my favorite book of all time is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, so I'm super excited for the movie this December!
ReplyDeleteI loved the babysitters club books!! I've only read the lion the witch and the wardrobe perhaps I need to get on it and read all the others. Oh and I love this as well! I feel like I'm just writing about the same things and it gets boring this is fun!
