Day 4 - My Favorite Book

Yeah that's right.  The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis would have to be my favorite book(s).  Now I didn't read these as a child like most people.  I always heard about them but I was more interested in Babysitter's Club Little Sister or Sweet Valley High.  (Yes I have always loved trash reading.)  When I was in college a friend and I came across a partially burned down house in the country.  We went in and I found a half burnt box of these books, I took them.  I thought they would look cool on my book shelf.  When I finally got around to reading them I could NOT put them down!  I like all 7 of them equally as much but "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe" will always be best!  That is the only one of the movies I saw and it was everything I imagined it could be.  That is one movie made from a book that was actually great!  I still have the books from the burnt down house on my book shelf and yes, they do still look cool!

  1. I love those books too! I was also a fan of the Boxcar Children books - have you read those? They're pretty good, from what I remember!

Also, the author of Sweet Valley High is coming out with another SVH book, but the characters are 20 years older!!! It'll be released in 2011 I think?
